National Truck Rental is an online marketplace for your trucks and equipment. To the professional contractor, we are a turn-key rental shop connects them to the equipment they need to get the job done. To the equipment owner or small independent rental company we are the place to list your equipment for rent. Make your investment keep making you money even when you are not using it. Let’s take a look at how this works.
How to Sign Up for an Owner Membership
- To start listing your equipment, you will need to register for an Owner Membership. Monthly and Annual Memberships are available.
- Once your membership application is complete, you can begin setting up your account.

Listing Trucks and Equipment on National Truck Rental
- Listing equipment on NTR is easy and can be done right from your mobile phone while you lay in bed. With your membership listing your equipment is 100% free and you, the owner, have complete control of your rental rates and availability.
- To list a machine, register for one of our memberships and go to your owner dashboard. Click on My Rental Listings in your dashboard left navigation or click the LIST A MACHINE button in the site’s header to start a new listing.
- Follow these steps:
- Start with a title for your rental listing. Include Make, Model and Type of Machine (Example: 2023 Kubota SVL97-2 Skid Steer)
- Next add your main picture of your equipment as well as other pictures to show attachments, buckets, interior/operator area and any other important features.
- Pick your equipment category by selecting from our list or clicking +Add New Category if yours is not there.
- Select your rental type (Daily, Hourly, Weekly, Monthly, etc) and add your price per day.
- Once you confirm your details your machine will be live when you save your listing.
- For long-term rentals such as weekly you can add your rental period as 7 days and add your price for the week.
- Next pick the days your equipment is not available so your calendar will be blocked out on your rental listing page.
- If you have a specified pick-up and drop-off time for your rental you can set it in the Start Date and End Date for Booking Fields. If you will plan that with your renter you can leave it as default.
- Add your location on the map.
- Add the equipment description and any other information in the forms below such as Year, Manufacturer, Operating Weight, etc to help renters find your listing.
- Click the SUBMIT button on the bottom right of the page and you’re all set!
Insurance & Protection
- Insurance is the responsibility of the equipment owner.
- NTR does not assume any responsibility for insuring equipment nor do we offer any insurance coverage for purchase.
Service & Transportation
- Transportation is the responsibility of the equipment owner and the renter.
- Owners may offer delivery or local pickup and drop off of their equipment.
- NTR does not offer transportation or service.
Filling an Order and Getting Paid
- NTR is a marketplace and does not facilitate transactions.
- Owners are responsible for arranging payment with their renters directly.
- Renters reach out to equipment owners directly via Inquiry Forms on the machine listing pages and owners will respond and take it from there.
